A catch-all email mailbox is one that collects all the email messages sent to non-existent email addresses. For instance, if your email address is info@domain.com, but somebody misspells it and sends an email message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Just one mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and thus you will never miss emails because the other side has an obsolete address or has made a typo. The downside of having a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving a lot of spam messages, but this issue can be fixed using anti-spam filtering software. It’s also crucial to remember that a mailbox with an active catch-all feature cannot forward inbound email messages to a 3rd-party mailbox.
